Big start! Way to go dude. You have a lot of work ahead of you. :) Those chopped stalks look like they are going to make some nice plants too!

Thanks. I ended up giving away about half of the plants I started to family and friends. My sister and my uncle are now starting to turn into chili heads from it. They keep texting me asking questions and seeing how the plants are doing.

Are those nursery pots 7 gallons? I'm pretty sure I have the same ones. I love those.

I gave my buddy about 40 plants a couple months ago, and I when I went over there last week, to my horror they were still sitting in the tiny 3.25" pots they were in when I gave them to him. They're all horribly rootbound, under watered, knobby stems with a few sad looking leaves.

Yeah, they are nursery pots. I am not sure if they are 5 or 7 gallon. I got them used from a nursery near my house for a penny a piece. The owner said to charge me a dollar a piece but then the guy that rang me up told me they just throw them away and he sold them for a penny each

I am lucky that the people I gave the pepper to have been very excited and good to the new additions to their families.

Just heart breaking!!
He wouldn't be getting any more if it were me!!

Yeah, fortunately most of the other people I gave plants to have taken better care of them. The plants I kept were the same size as the ones I gave him and now mine are 3-4 ft. tall with 25+ flowers/peppers and his are still the same size as when he got them only with a lot less leaves. Those plants would have cost over $100 at a nursery, if you could actually find those varieties at a nursery, and he just let them go to poop.

I took a few snap shots on my way out the door to work today with my phone. The quality of the pictures are not that great but here is some of the progress.

Aji Limon going pretty crazy with pods. Only one is starting to yellow so far. This is by far my most prolific plant at the moment

NuMex Las Cruces Cayenne - There is about 10 or so pods of this same size on a rather small plant.
IMAG0304.jpg

Bhut Jolokia - A little upskirt action for all you pepper pervs out there.
IMAG0305.jpg

Yellow 7 - My lone Yellow 7 coming in. I hope he gets some friends soon, because this plant is huge with giant leaves.

Went out and took some new pics of my plants today.

I went away for a week and my dog found a new target for himself. His dog water didn't seem to help this plant :(

My two butch Ts I am not sure I am going to get any pods off of these plants this year. The soil was really rocky. I tried to mix in some potting soil but it didn't seem to help.

Nice harvest and nice plants :)
I grew a lot of those varieties last season. My Aji Lemon was my most productive as well.
