It's never too early to get started!

Sooo... 2022 season is over and most of my 2023 plants are already there - no reason not to start a new thread already! πŸ˜ƒ

While all my current plants are technically overwinterers, only a couple have grown through the 2022 season and are considered interesting enough to keep for next seasons grow.

Let's start with the famous Schneider farms SB plant, which will be going into it's third season in 2023. It currently doesn't look all that nice but that was also the case during the winter of 2021 so no worries here...

And then there's the Humble Servants Homestead (HSH) SB, which was also elected to stay for next season...

Current state of my little seedlings...
Top left is the 7pot burgundy, center is the KSSR, right is the KSLS.
Below the KSSR is the Scotch Brains and next to that is the Scotch Brains 7pot pheno.

The 2 other diagonally placed pots are a couple of annuums I planted today, mainly to please the wife 😁:
Maria Elena and San Juan Tsile Pueblo, both from RFC. I have these seeds for a long time already, hope they're still good. The San Juan Tsile Pueblo I have grown before and turned out to be really delicious, very sweet with a strong nutty flavor. The Maria Elene is one I haven't tried yet.

I have grown quite a few of the (new) mexican varieties from RFC. They all had one thing in common: they don't really grow very well in my climate. But they do sound very compelling when I read the description of the RFC web site...

I also have some thai basilicum seeds going that I got from Vivian πŸ™‚...
