harvesting A few little harvests

[Scorpion]

Every Saturday we come on over to good old mums house and raid the pepper garden...these are peppers from the last 3 picks.

Top row: Bhut, scorp and 7 pod...with a few yellow bhut throughout.
Midddle: A mix of cayene and such like, choc habs, various habs.
bottom: various habs

I chucked a couple of sauces in there for scale and also to show what I use in each of the sauces.

Most of them will be dedicated to sauce but the seven pods and the scorps will be heading toward the powder side of things...Im making a new powder with 7 pod, scorp, smoked bhut, salt, pepper and korma spices so we'll see how it goes. Novacastrian will be trying it sometime soon so it will be interesting to see what hbe rekons. Im gonna call the powder 7 pot screamer lol!

Yeah, I had a look at the masala spice. What i rekon Im going to do is do some of those traditional favourites with a nice hot twang to them...I guess having the spices as subtle undertones is the way im heading.
