I went an ordered take out Mexican food the other day. Around these parts we have little shacks on the side of the road that have the best TexMex one can get. Anyway the lady warns me that the sauce on the enchiladas was hot. Would I like the Gringo sauce instead she ask me. I say "no no, just give me the hot stuff". I come home, start eating it and it is HOT. I was suprised. I dont know what the sauce was or what kind of peper was used to make the sauce but it was HOT.
One thing I did do for the first was to take note of where the burn was in my mouth. I hadnt realized that there were differences before reading this site. The burn was on the roof of my mouth and on the back of my lips. It lasted for about 4 or 5 minutes.
So, thats my story, I thought I would share it.
