A little bit of information on me.

I started PexPeppers in 2010 as a vague hobby due to seeing Neil Smith of The Hippy Seed Company do what he does. I said to myself well gosh, I wanna do that too! My friend Darren was right there by my side giving me encouragement that I needed.

At the time i was running a faltering PC building and repair business (after all, rise of the tablets) but I soon realized it was a dying art and had to move on.

I started to make sauce with the materials that I had. store bought orange habaneros, grandfathers honey from the hives. Many MANY of my hours are dedicated to developing my recipes.

It all started with a sauce called HornetBOMB. The original ingredients were: Orange Habaneros, Vinegar, Buckwheat Honey, Lime Juice, and Sugar. But we decided it would be best to go down the no preservatives or processed ingredients path.

Most of my "fan base" has come from reddit as well as facebook. Now you know a little more about me.

Great to hear. I've been eyeballing a few of your sauces, and they look awesome. It is hard to justify purchasing sauce when I have so many peppers at home. I dig the promos and stuff I get on your e-mail list so I guess I will soon have to take advantage. As usual everything looks great!

Or, it's hard to justify growing when there are so many people with great sauces! I've vacillated between the two ...

Thanks for sharing the info, Garrett!  :P

My morning eggs this morning were bathed in blackberry deliciousness.. aka... Singularity! Keep it up man!

My daughter and I reviewed some of the PexPepper line up this past winter.  She titled one of them 'Milk Worthy'.  Best way to describe what I liked about each is to say they tasted crisp.  Not sure if anyone thinks they can tell the difference between a mash based sauce and others, but I think I can.  I do not think he uses mash.  If he does, the sauces do not taste like it.

I actually do not use a mash.

That was supposed to be our private secret. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
;)

(Also a Leo)

Jokes aside, I like the bio.

A few months ago you were looking for promo ideas, thinking of quitting etc.

I think what you are doing in this thread is on the right path. I like to know other people. What got them into doing what they are doing etc.

Thank you for the little bio!!!

Between Grants naked avatars and this discussion of long walks, I think maybe THP should have a dating service.  Damn glad I am wed.
