Airstone for AACT with EcoPlus Air-3

Hey all,

I would like to know your suggestions for airstones. This pump has a 6-way split for a total of 65 L/min.
 
I would like to brew 2 X 5 gallon tubs simultaneously. I was heading for 6 round air stones, 2 in each buckets and 1 in the each of the compost bags. But am not sure of the quality/number necessary.

Does this kind of air stone seem interesting?

Those look wicked, I was going to suggest the drum shaped ones for durability, but that's just as good if not better. Anything is better than the "breaks all the damn time" stick version. Always good to watch hour air flows through them in clean water.
 
The Air 7 can run about 8 stones twice that size, doing a bit of backwards math from that, I would figure you can run 4-6, depending on load. The stone in the bag doesn't need full pressure, while the two at the bottom should keep the surface rolling.

I have 2 stones in my 3 gallon mixture. Works well.

3 stones for 5 gallons should be good.

I finally got 6 small and 4 medium ones. I will do a small experiment with water to see the best setup for pressure distribution. Thank you guys for your tips

Hope that works. I get tired of dissolving stones. I ended up getting 2 micro pore air stones. They work great. I have not used them for tea. For tea, dissolving stone is OK.

I use these in my other hydroponics stuff. I also switched over to silicone for my air tubing. Very happy with it. No more hard or water logged clear tubing.
