i posted this because for some strange reason i cant edit my AJIJOE'S SUPER SEEDS SALE post i will add them to the list later if i can

got the seeds during the 2010 season from a friends farm

i have three plants in my garden from this very same lot and germination was excellent!!
no pods yet
there big and they seemed to grow faster than the other bhuts i started

it basiclly looks the same as bhut except they are peach in color
they appear to be a little milder but not much

thats what i can tell you as i dried the peppers and they ended up in some sauce i made they worked well in it

no offense but peach bhuts? dont believe such a thing really exists, if its a cross please say what its it crossed with, I wish people would stop doing this shit calling stuff bhut etc.. when I guarantee they are not bhuts.

sorry to sound like an asshole, but Im a firm believer in keeping things pure bred and true. that doesnt mean I dont like crosses that just means I dont like people using pure strain names for crosses. so if its not a bhut dont call it one. call it a peach hab bhut cross, or whatever it is.
 
I am growing Peach Bhuts this season, got my seeds in a trade from a member here.
Have seen pics and from what i could tell they look exactly like a Bhut in shape mojo. If we didn't call it a Peach Bhut no one would have any idea at all what the pods would look like. If you were to keep everything named exactly right we would have to go back and trace what every chilli's background is and thats impossible. You may not like it but it aint changing any time soon brother! :P

Oh and you didn't sound like an asshole but you kind of wrote like one. ;) Just keeping it pure.
No hard feelings intended, just my opinion.
 
No problem hehe I understand what your saying Nova , the thing that bothers me is that this stuff kinda gets people confused and then we will eventually lose true seeds, imagine if everyone started saying that their scorp seeds were Butch T strain.. wouldnt we lose the integrity of of that strain? (I see this already happening btw) just waiting on the day we see ppl saying purple butch t seeds! or yellow etc.. but your right, I know theres not a better way to describe it, but hell it had to get crossed somewhere along the line, so that is what more or less what Im bitchin about, not just the colors lol plus its late and Im drunk and if that bothers ppl, oh well lol ;) :cheers:
 
I've only just had my (peach bhut) growing now for about 2 weeks,
I believe that the few I am growing are Bhut Jolokia red x Bhut Jolokia yellow hybrids....
 
I got about 1/4 left of that unreal sauce....yummmm m y
and I'm now working on making my sample pack of 9 x 50 ml bottles + 1 pepper wasabi mustard paste
hopefully I'll have them ready within the month.....I should have about 12 or so packs If anyone wants them, you'll just have to pay the postage
I need some feedback on the sauces
 
I'd give Peach Bhut a try... but after my accidental Naga Morich cross last season I need to slim down my open pollinated list

im not looking to confuse or deceive anyone, these seeds came from nice peach bhut pods that i harvested with my own two hands just like all the seeds i sell, if they crossed again at some point i have no way of knowing i didn't grow them, a friend did, im waiting on my three plants from this very same lot to see if they remained true so the verdict is still out

peach is a recessive gene and easily bred out

heck this is why i sell them so cheap and this is why i sell all my seeds so cheaply, i wanna help more than anything

im not taking offense either i just wanted you all to know where im coming from on this
