The unknown purple pods are turning. This is not the final color.

Transplanted some of the leftovers to 10 gallon grow bags.

The best looking of the seven; a Chocolate Reaper.

The Red CPR is blowing up, this is in a 19 inch clay pot.

Pods turning already, and I see several dozen more, plus literally hundreds of flowers emerging.

Adam mentioned that the unknown purple reminded him of PepperNorth's Pink Tiger x Reaper.

I found the the packet of seeds that I got that produced this plant.

So, definitely a PepperNorth plant.

Yes, they are well ahead of last year. I was looking at my 2017 glog, and found this pic from July 4:

Although it is still early in the season (I usually harvest pods into late October/early November), this year may be an exceptional one (hopefully).

Picked some pods from the Red CPR:

Since these pods formed before any those on any of my other plants, I am fairly certain they were self-pollinated, and true. Saving seeds from the two large ones:

The pod on the right had quite a few seeds:

I leave the seeds attached to the placenta, wrap them in the paper towel, put them up to dry:

They do have nice coloration, and lots of bumps and pits.

They do have a good amount of placenta, and a decent amount of oil.

Hopefully, I get more pods with longer tails.
