disease-pests Another Good or bad bug ?

I have about 4 of these guys wandering around my plants. I am not sure if they or good or bad. They seem to be the only insects in the area and they have been there for about a week. I don't want to kill something that might be helping me out.

Doesn't look like a stinkbug to me. Too small, too roundish.
What does it smell like when you squish it?

Yeah I didn't really think it looks like a stink bug either. We have plenty of those here in PA. This looks much rounder and more beetle like. I will see if I can get a clearer picture of one. They were being a bit camera shy.

And tbh I don't think stink bugs smell when killed, maybe my sniffer is broken?

Looks like a stink bug to me. After hatching from the egg the stink bug is round for a fair number of days/weeks. It has to grow just like everything else.
