The "joke" was in very poor taste.

I've got days,not hours, invested in updating the #'s and packaging up seeds(200+ packs).
All just to give someone a few chili seeds that they might not have been able to get themselves.
All with no strings attached.
 
I know you're a good man, you'll do the right thing. 180 is available again, I don't like anyone calling my buddy a cheat, so I'm outta this!!!!!!
 
I do have one question, maybe I am not understanding, but do you already know the winning number? And it has not been selected yet? I guess that's two questions. It sounds as if anyone still picking could be the one to pick the right number and it will be over. If that the case, then everyone else that has selected is already out, unless there is a dart toss? Ok that's three questions. Sorry.
 
By my understanding of it in the beginning, you are right on all 3 JT. We have all missed but could possibly be selected by the blind dart. I am all for getting a second chance. :D

I picked a number before the Lotto started,Nobody has guessed it yet.

There will only be a dart toss IF ,like last time,nobody guesses the number and people stop guessing.

Last time only 64 people guessed then guesses stopped-that is why I tossed a dart at a target with all the numbers on it.
 
Ok cool. Just wanted to know. IMO (and it is only that, it is your contest), you shouldn't have let anyone know that. Now, anyone that has already guessed is out and has no reason to follow this unless you do eventually have to go to the dart toss. Maybe you could have had someone else pick a number and seal it in an envelope? Or you pick it and just don't mention whether or not anyone has hit it until the contest is over? Just thinking out loud. Either way very cool thing you are doing, and good luck to everyone.
 
If I did that I'd have to go through all the numbers.
It's taken this long to only go through half of them.

I wasn't looking for a new career,just spread some heat.

At this point I'm getting tired of the whole thing and am just hoping some person guesses the number so I can be done with it.

Too many people don't understand that there was a 200:1 chance of guessing the right number from the start and it's still around 100:1 +/-.
This is going to last a lot longer if some person isn't lucky sooner than later.
I picked 200 because Vladans was for 200 than a smaller number and I thaught his ended fast enough.
With the size of the seed collection I wanted to give as many people a chance as possible to make a guess.

I think my only mistake was to say I'd do a dart toss if guesses stop.
That got some people wanting me to toss the dart as soon as possible so there would be less numbers on the target.
I guess it is a very large collection of seeds for some people and everyone likes FREE...


Either way,I can't change things now in the middle of the lotto.

I don't think I'll do this again anytime soon.
A lot of work and time,too much.

The first one went smoother than this one.

OMG I just read the unfortunate thing that happened about this contest. I think it's really great someone is doing something like this and no one should complain and we all just be happy for whoever is the lucky winner :)
