Anyone else being affected by the west coast shipping fiasco?

I have been off work since January 20th thanks to the Longshoremen who are holding up the entire west coast because they don't have a contract.
The average pay of these bozos is $95k a year and they want more? It's sickening. That union has entirely too much power.

They are still good and I think necessary in many cases but ones like this are ridiculous.
I was in a union for 25 years myself.

This is the gateway to Asia and a 1 trillion dollar industry that 38 million people rely on for income. Crazy!

You are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. If you think $100,000 a year is what they are worth you are nuts!
They have the entire west coast at a gridlock because of stupid crap like 100% medical. Try making $17 an hour working in an iron foundry as I did and then you will see what work is!
I didn't start this to be political bullshit so take it elsewhere! I am telling you many of us are out of work because of these greedy people.
