I went through this really intense week long job interview for a company in PA one time... Apparently (so they say) they now know more about me than Any government in the world foreign and domestic.
They knew about every traffic ticket I'd ever received, overdue library book fees (even from my private college), flew out and interviewed lots of my family and friends. Knew my grades, medical history, and developed a psychological profile... It was really creepy having a folder out there this is a summation of everything that ever happened to me from birth till that point.
For a week, they ran a group of us through various scenarios, with a team of psychologists watching us (one each, and they took turns on a rotating basis as to whom they watch), as well as a group watching us from the organization (same setup).
They gave us a task, gave us /most/ of the tools we needed, took stuff away through "accidents"... Basically set us up to fail, and watch how we performed.
At the end, they give you a copy of their conclusions about you. That part was cool...
The part that dealt with the kidnapping and dismemberment of a teammate was a bit weird.
Needless to say, I went another route *chuckle*, but by my choice, not theirs.
