Oops, no question....I guess it's over. A thousand pages, down the drain. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

Anybody like to go fishing?

I hunt for ripe pods on my pepper plants.

Does that count?

Well peppers certainly aren't as fast as ducks or doves whizzing past your head.

But speaking of hunting fruits and vegetables...anyone ever go to those U-pick farms?
I've been meaning to go, but whatever season always passes me by before I remember. I think I'll have to start doing that for my batches of hot sauce.

Apple hill is fun. Apples in September, pumpkins in October, and cutting your Christmas tree in December.

Berry farms are around. Ever pick berries?

I don't know about apple hill, but most pick your own orchards are going to charge a good bit less than you'd pay retail. Because you're doing half of the work.

Sometimes I'll ride my bike around town and pick fruit that people just let fall to the sidewalk and rot.

Ever have fresh loquats? Those things are amazing.

No never.
What's it cost to pick at these farms like apple hill?

Sorry can't remember, but remember it being a bit pricey. By the pound I think. They rent you a picking pole and a basket, then charge by the weight. Kids love it.
