Not a big bean fan. I'll eat baked beans and northern beans or pintos cooked with a ham bone, but all other incarnations gross me out.

Don't kidney beans remind you of eating cockroaches?
 
Wonderful! I've never eaten cockroaches either, but the puss inside a kidney bean couldn't be far off from the innards of a cockroach. Add that to the little "pop" you get biting into one, the repulsive reddish-brown skin, and the horrible parallel is complete.
