Awww yea!

So since reading AJ's puree recipe and seeing people giving jars of it away in the forum ads. I have been really really wanting to make some. Problem is, I don't have a pressure canner or even a canning rack for the stockpot I have. Well I was just looking around on ebay and amazon for a cheaper pressure canner with no good results. Lo and behold I thought "what the hell, I'll check Craigslist" and man oh man lookey here

Yep, meeting the lady on Saturday and then it's puree city over at Casa de Kelley

P.S. yes I know I could just buy a cheap canning rack and do the hot water bath deal, but I just couldn't pass this one up. Plus, it will come in handy for other things as well.

Nice score!  I was in the same boat as you.  Wanting to make the puree, but no pressure caner.  I ended up giving in and getting one at wally world for $60.00.   I made some Jalapeno puree.  I figured first time I wasn't going to mess up any of my supers.   It came out great.   Hope to make some more this weekend.

Yea, I've been itching to make some cause the freezer is getting a tad bit full lol. I really was trying to avoid paying the $60-$100+ from walmart and amazon. I was very happy that she still had it available
