No, we're not talking about the furry animal living in the Bahamas, we're talking about the pepper. As one of my favorite mid range peppers of the year, I thought I ought to share it with some people on THP. I figured it was my time to give back a little to the community, so without further ado, the Bahamian Goat.
The Bahamian goat is a fantastic pepper in the Habanero range of heat, which gives it great versatility. It's fantastic for a multitude of things, I use them in everything from meatballs to marinades and sauces. It's highly productive like most C. Chinese, and grows in to a fairly large plant. If you've never grown this before, it should definitely be on your list for 2016.
Seeds have been selected from only the largest pods. These plants have all been grown hydroponically, not organically. I can not guarantee that every seed will not have crossed with another variety, although none of the pods selected had odd character.
