"Can you say "dutch oven"? I knew you could!"

:)

Now I don't care what's in it, you're in the lead now. Dutch ovens can make a pile of Yeti dook taste amazing, so it should do a killer job with Bigfoot's penis. I too am breaking out the Dutch oven today, except mine will be for a spicy apple pie.

And the "Green and Gold Allie Lager"
DSCF0020.jpg

Cooking Method:
Potatoes get wrapped in aluminium foil and tossed into the hot coals. while they are cooking away, a grill is placed on top of the coals and the kangaroo is cooked on it. potatoes are skinned and mashed. use a thin metal rod heated to be red hot to burn a flag of each country (Australia and America) into each fillet of kangaroo. serve on plate with special gravy.

Meaning: The two flags burnt into the fillets are there to represent our alliance and the potato is formed into a V for Victory :)

Just awesome. I vote for this lol. The fact you put the flags into the meat is amazing. And i honestly love the taste of kangaroo. One of the best steaks i've had.

that's good, but get rid of "well then here" and put a name on the top of it, like Wheebz' Fourth of July Feast for One, in bold. That way Dan can cut and past the post into the poll thread. Follow the rules!

I'd take one of those drinks! Then again I did have blueberries in mine.

Here's what I started with(except the banana)
4761438066_6023194349.jpg

Double fresh ground pork and beef mixture
Hot pequin powder
seasoning salt
onion flakes(powdered)
nutmeg
allspice
Hot paprika
black pepper
Cure #1
bacon(not shown)
Mix ingredients well and stuff into a large casing

Potawie's celebratory hot summer sausage in a bacon sheath with purple tequila shooter

Now here's where it gets good. Sausage removed from casing and rolled into weaved bacon. I didn't have enough bacon to cover the whole thing so I went with the bacon condom look :)

And here's why I failed art class. Its supposed to be a Canada flag.
The drink is just a shot of tequils with black currant nectar and was supposed to have pop-rocks in it but the kids ate them on me

These were cut up and served as orderves with some mustards

Lookin good all! Got plenty in mind here already for my vote- not sure if I'm gonna make this one, only part of today's meal will be grilled, brats and keilbasa- nuttin too excitin' there. Happy fourth to all ya!

That 'roo is really gettin my taste buds fired up- JayT's spread is pretty damn serious too... and bacon wrap-around lattice! This will be a hard one... Lookin forward to MOAR too!

Ok, I am doing a Jerk Inspired Grilled Chicken, Some Rudy's Chicken, Some Habanero Bacon Poppers, Corn on the cob, and Dutch oven apple pie.
Here's a link to the pics. I originally wasn't going to join the Throw down, but one persons prodding made me do it. :)
4th of July Grilling!
I'm not making anything fancy as far as drinks are concerned, but my stomach will be mixing up a nice batch of Shiner Bock and Whiskey in a few hours here.

Pulled it off the grill when internal temp was 145F, covered it and let it rest while the rest of the stuff got grilled.

We had a most enjoyable dinner together and just sat and visited on the deck for an hour after we were done eating, it was such a lovely evening. The best compliment that could be said was that they were both commenting still this morning about how great that prime rib roast turned out on the grill.

Even the dog got in on the scraps action! Happy Dog!
