Super Bleu XLVII
The fans had waited all year for this one day. A day of two great teams battling it out for one to walk away Victorious and the Super Bleu Champions.
It had come down to the arch rivals, the Smashing Salmons and the Perfect Prawns. They had battled it out all season and today they were going to prove who was the better canapé.
The fans cheered and screamed all day, and it was going to be all decided in one final play.
The QB Wonton, takes the ball, does a Spanish juke, fakes to Tomato Receiver, hands off to Avocado Rusher, he splits the Lime Backers, Shrugs off a salmon, dives for the End Zone and falls a mere inch short. The Siren sounds, the crowd is silent.....
First time in Super Bleu history, the siren has sounded and the scores are tied. Amazingly the two teams look at each other and nod. They think that they are equals.
Both teams are awarded the Championship Cup!!!!
Could it be that the Smashing Salmons and the Perfect Prawns are equal???

MAIN INGREDIENTS:
Wonton Wrappers
Bleu Cheese
Greek Yoghurt
Few Cloves Garlic
1 Lime
Prawns
Smoked Salmon
1 Avocado
Baby Capers
Coriander
Dozen or so Sweet Cherry Tomato
1 Spanish Onion
250gms Thai Chilli
1 ½ Cup White Vinegar
1 ½ Cup Sugar
Preheat oven to 180 deg Celsius. Spray a mini cupcake tray with olive oil. Place wonton wrapper in each hole and press down to form Cup shape. Bake for 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
Mix Greek Yoghurt, garlic and bleu cheese to make sauce.
In a food processor, blend the chillis, garlic and 150mls Vinegar. Heat in a saucepan the mixture and remaining sugar and vinegar. Cook until sugar dissolves on low heat. Once dissolved bring to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Finely dice avocado, Spanish onion and tomato. Mix together.
Thinly slice lime. Chop Dill, Coriander.
To present (and eat)
To arrange a Perfect Prawn.
Place a teaspoon of Bleu Cheese sauce in bottom of wonton cup. Spoon a little of the avocado, tomato and onion mix into the cup. Drizzle with sweet chilli sauce. Top with a little bit of coriander and lime slice.
To arrange a Smashing Salmon.
Place a teaspoon of Bleu Cheese sauce in bottom of wonton cup. Place a roll of the smoked salmon in the cup. Drizzle with sweet chilli sauce. Top with baby capers and dill.
