Started off with the pepper-related BA OH ...
It's got a real nice mouthfeel, thick - chewy, and it's not dissimilar in 'stout style' from Founders Imperial ...
The flavors while still real cold ...
Uhm ...
Intense Mexican chocolate on the nose ...
I'm getting dark notes that are commonly found in coffee ...
Piano Guys playing the ball right now - LOL ...
The chili component is in taste only, at the back of the throat ... dryness on the finish that would make The Bum nipple-pinchie ...
I'm tasting identifiable pale chocolate malt, for our brewing folks ... which I like.
It's a top-level complexity, and a great seasonal treat.
I'm excited to see how it opens up while it warms, and I'm thinking there will be dark/stone fruit with tannic bite, and port-like qualities coming forward as I sip ...
