So, this beer's been sitting for months and months now ...
It had a phase where it
tasted horrendous was sweet ...
It's delicious, and it's massive ...
I think it's like
14.5% 12.5% or something
obscene like that ...
I think it started at like 34 Plato if I recall ... topping out the refractometer and requiring some extrapolation.
At one point it tasted like a mushroom and cabernet sauce for steak, WITH the steak =|
Now ...
Stone fruit galore, roasted-ness - chocolate more than coffee ...
Has all the complexity in the world, kind of akin to a beer from The Bruery called Smoking Wood that I tried along the way ...
The midnight wheat is brilliant after 6-8 months or whatever's past while it's been sitting in the bottle ...
Hmmmm ...
Maybe it's really a bottle of my Bhut Stout, but I don't think so, because that one's got a bunch of residual sweetness ...
No, I think it's the Spicy Mulberara ...
It's the Bhut Stout ... and it's brilliant now. There's a delicious stone fruit vibe, the bhut has faded out, but there's a little spicy left that I almost thought was wheat or rye ...
I'm getting the traces left behind all of the mulberry preserves from HM01 ...
In the time writing this ...
It gone.
Cheers f**kers!
Drink big beer ... more so, drink a lot of it ...
Turn out it was the Bhut Stout, because the next bottle's the Spicy Mulberara ...
