I like no/low spiced pumpkin beers. To me all the spiced ones should be called Pumpkin Pie beers. That's what they are. Too much cinnamon and clove, and I'm out.

Corner store had these 16.9 oz for $2. Grabbed one.

So, this beer's been sitting for months and months now ...

It had a phase where it tasted horrendous was sweet ...

It's delicious, and it's massive ...

I think it's like 14.5% 12.5% or something obscene like that ...

I think it started at like 34 Plato if I recall ... topping out the refractometer and requiring some extrapolation.

At one point it tasted like a mushroom and cabernet sauce for steak, WITH the steak =|

Now ...

Stone fruit galore, roasted-ness - chocolate more than coffee ...

Has all the complexity in the world, kind of akin to a beer from The Bruery called Smoking Wood that I tried along the way ...

The midnight wheat is brilliant after 6-8 months or whatever's past while it's been sitting in the bottle ...

Hmmmm ...

Maybe it's really a bottle of my Bhut Stout, but I don't think so, because that one's got a bunch of residual sweetness ...

No, I think it's the Spicy Mulberara ...

It's the Bhut Stout ... and it's brilliant now. There's a delicious stone fruit vibe, the bhut has faded out, but there's a little spicy left that I almost thought was wheat or rye ...
I'm getting the traces left behind all of the mulberry preserves from HM01 ...

In the time writing this ...

It gone.

Cheers f**kers!

Drink big beer ... more so, drink a lot of it ...

Turn out it was the Bhut Stout, because the next bottle's the Spicy Mulberara ...

The Spicy Mulberara ...

Midnight Wheatwine-like 14.5% monster ...

Mulberry preserves from HM01 gave this a weird wine-like quality ...

Drinking it anyways ... gotta get drunkpft before the debate, yo.

Totes.

Have a bomber of Boulevard's Smokestack series, Rye on Rye on deck ...

I'd imagine that's a biggun' too, but I didn't check it ...

Danielle's giving me the look already ...

Maybe because I decided to do a little dance and snap my fingers and tell her "I should have been a flamenco dancer - I could really work some castanets!" ...

BWAHAHA ...

Stopped by a bar with a few coworkers after work this morning (opened at 5am.. weird) Tried my first domestic in quite a few years. Bud light... tasted like water and sadness.

Also tried Revolutions Anti Hero IPA . Was really good. I'll probably pick up a few more tonight once I  run to store
