Waiting in line at Aslin is kind of like being in the lot at a Phish show, or Burning Man. Lots of barter and gifting of heady beers. I've met some really nice hard working people at Aslin that are absolute beer enthusiast through and through. My wife was waiting in line with me today, and a guy gifted her a $60 bottle of chardonnay, because he insisted that would be the wine for her to try drinking, since she doesn't drink alcohol. Another kind person from WV in line today gifted me two cans of some IPA that he thought I would like. Neither person expected anything in return from us.tctenten said:

Was tinkering with a growler. Seems feasible. Cans are hard to get fresh. This weekend are 2 that I would like to try. Mylar Bags and Nummy Nug. When I got the 3rd Anniv Nummy ran out with about 5 people infront of me. Supposed to be pretty good.FreeportBum said:can you grab me anything fresh
