Yeah, this one is freaking delicious. Nice and dry, but with a great body. I get massive guava, mango, honeysuckle, and cantelope aromas. There is an absolutely amazing dank and fluffy bitterness on the front and middle of my tongue. Damn fine beer. It's hard to place the exact hops, but it seems to me like there is definitely Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy in the mix. Thanks for sharing FBM!

great description and i'm glad you liked it. i have one more from you to try but I took notes on all of them. I really like BSB. I have a little notebook i chicken scratch all my thoughts in on new beers I try. Cheers

I asked my wife to open up my beer packages when they were delivered. She opened the one from FPB, but she didn't open this one because of the box....she thought I ordered another pot. What a great assortment of beers that are unavailable to me. Grassy is the man. Some really interesting ones that I look forward to trying.

This one is just as good as I remembered.

This is another fine beer. The Bum has good taste. I maybe describing it incorrectly, but this has the same oily or silky moutfeel that I got from the beers from The Alchemist. Could it be hop resin/oil that is creating this effect for me?

Is it hatch or Hatch(r) because Scovie will have a damn fit.
Definitely Hatch(r), I come from a state where it is legally trademarked. I grow green chiles from Hatch green chile seeds every other year or so, but I would never call them Hatch, since they are grown in VA soil. Per my hungry wife's instructions, who is on her way home from a tough day at the office, I will stuff the patties with goat cheese, then grill them with hatch green chiles and melted cheddar on top. Good thing she made the call on that one. I kept staring at my beer, then my charcoal chimney, then the seasoned grass fed ground beef, then the goat cheese. One wrong decision could easily piss off a Vietnamese woman when she's had a long day at work...
