I cracked a bottle of wine a fellow line sitter gifted my wife and I a few months ago at Aslin. It's right up my alley, due to it being bone dry. It's a 9 barrel chardonnay, and is one of the best I've had of it's style. It is going to taste really well with butter, garlic, aji limo, bacon, and parsley for some mussels I'm about steam.

This one tastes like a Corona with a ton of limes and salt added to it, except without all of the inherent skunkiness. I could probably crush about 20 of these in the parking lot before a Redskins game, but I probably wouldn't drink it again unless I'm tailgating.

Daydream in Green is good (below) but Imaginary Greenscapes is way better (sorry Bum lol!)
 
Daydream tastes a bit immature and has a watermelon rind quality while Greenscapes has that bigger orange/apricot maturity. BOTH are good but I had DIG a few times now and expected it to mature a bit but it held that green quality, which, also, is good! But it's not because the beer is young, it's just how it tastes, and it's quite refreshing and a nice break from textbook juice bombs. I like both for different moods. (Insert a Grant joke about my moods). hahahahahaha!

I didn't get any plating pics, because we just crushed so much food and beer as soon as I had it prepped. It kind of slipped my mind. Here is some pics of me breaking it down though.

My favorite local BBA stout. Not for folks who don't like bourbon, because it has a massive residual bourbon nose and flavor.

I was drinking this one last November/December, and haven't touched a bottle since. It's gotten much better since then. Good thing I still have several bottles squirreled away for a rainy day!

Yet unnamed NEIPA dry hopped with all of the NZ varieties GM sent me. Wow, it's suuuper delicious! The nose on it is very floral, amd fruity. Kind of reminds me of honeysuckle. The flavor is kind of like a cantaloupe. It has a subtle wack of initial bitterness from all of the whirlpooled Galaxy, but finishes with a pleasant, slightly sweet note on the tongue from the honey malt.
