Gigantic makes some legendary beers here in Portland. Their IPA and barley wine are out of this world. Ironically bottles are a little hard to come by, but their beers are in almost every local taphouse.


I don't know anything about those but I would dive head first into that stout.

Yeah definitely get it while you can. Years ago I tried it at the deschutes brewery in bend , OR. That was the first big stout that I had ever had and I fell in love at first sip.

Very good and completely different than what I expected. Subdued sweetness with a almost astringent finish similar to eating pecans.

It's time to take the craftyness up a notch.

What an amazing beer. Deep rich roasty coffee and sweet chocolate flavors with some rich vanilla and cinnamon flavors. It has it all except for some spiciness from some chiles but that's okay.

It was so good I had to post it twice.

Stopped at Tommy Nevins brewery for dinner. Had a flight and Munich Bratwurst with stout braised onions. Was really good but wasn't a fan of the sweet stone ground mustard. Would of been better with a bavarian or something with a little horseradish.

Liked their tumultuous ipa enough to get a growler. Going to polish that off tonight while playing Call of Duty on PS4

Got a really good buzz from that growler...
 
Taste buds are a little skewed from eating a lime with a boatload of salt but i'm really enjoying this Northeast style IPA
 
Pours like orange juice. Tastes, hard to say. A little biscuit and sweet melon. Or maybe honey and cantaloup. Crap my taste buds are wonky atm.  Canned 12-16-17
