Looking at their website this morning, they have a ton of stuff I haven't seen around here before. Especially the "Smooth Maneuvers" and "Project Black" IPAs. You had/seen those yet?

Never got to try smooth maneuvers, Black was interesting, not a drain pour for me but some weird stuff going on there. The smell had a faint edge of stale farts to it and the aftertaste had a definite fishyness. Oxidation on the grains may be when they blackened them. That firebreather blackened pilsner I had last night is everything a blackened style beer should be, whereas Black missed the mark Imo.


Unfortunately that firebreather is getting a bit old, almost all the great Smokey notes from when it was fresh have faded.

From that you would think I hated it but I didn't have any problem finishing a pint of it. None of that was smack you in the face like stinky cheese aromas or tastes. Just really subtle stuff that no else with me picked up on until I mentioned it, then they seemed to.

Not really hazy at all, like advertised, but really damn tasty! Lots of mango and tangerine or something

Unfortunately there is little chance of this winning the mystery box challenge because everyone is on the NEIPA train these days and I am pretty sure they will be adding C to their core line. They call D a sour but definitely has a Gose vibe with the himalayan salt in there.

This is great! Velvety smooth, hazy, very carbonated like soda, and has a floral tea-like flavor.

I knew it!!!!! The brewery is pretty much near the bottom of the canal. The lower you are the more pollution there is.

Pollution = flavor
