Ummm......cartoon?

Somehow from the ads, I just thought it was really stylized, not actually a cartoon.(CGI or whatever).

Still, it held my attention.

Grendel was ingenious in his mutated quasi-humanity.

Fairly fascinating.

The plot twist, (
guy doesn't kill monster and get the girl, but rather, has sex with the monster and later battles his own son)
was fairly fascinating(although I believe it deviates from the original tale;))

Worth watching, definitely wierd.
 
i loved that movie.....5 years ago. it was kinda weird to get around the fake look at the beginning but they pulled off a realistic look quite well. Very original. They could never match the real Angelina though.
 
Why is 300 the option to beowulf?

Which 4 syllable shouted catch phrase was first?

Not sure I care.

And yeah, the cgi nudity was creepy, .....giving 300 the WIN for having real naked women! and the FAIL for having nearly naked men in 99.6% of the entire movie.

I particularly liked the CGI of Angelina Jolie kinda gave a big thumb up for the movie -- I thought it was pretty good overall
