I've been considering trying the new Big Jim heritage which is supposed to be an improved variety. I never did have much luck with normal Big Jims but I blame it on the fact that there have been a lot of poor quality seeds of this variety going around for several years now. If you want to make sure of true seeds, I'd get them from the chile pepper institute NMSU or from someone who has had good results
