Borat

Saw this yesterday and it is very funny. I'd rate it up with Talledaga Nights and Snakes on a Plane for sheer hilarity.

There's something to offend everyone so if your one of those PC, eaisly offended types you may want to avoid this picture. Otherwise you'll laugh your ass off. I know I did.

hah yea i really liked it. it was sold out the first night until 10 so we decided to come back the next day. it was sold out again! but luckily only for one showing so we bought our ticket early. next door is a place called boomers that has an arcade, go kart track, put put, etc. so we killed the time there and a couple more people met up with us. the two that showed up later couldn't get in since it had since sold out hah. the only other two things i can say are..if you've seen all the tv shows, you'll recognize a number of jokes :) and two..watch out for the naked scene! :)

Great show... haven't seen the flick yet.

wow last time I went to the show was to see a lion king with the kiddos. I dont get out much, although I do own Freebird the Movie on VHS of course....my 8mm copy was gettin bad:-)

Wowie Wee Wowa, this was a nice movie film! I make-a sexy tima in the viewing room and got thrown out...be me got parking validated before that...HIGH FIVE!

Great film, so far he has one law suit filed against him and has had the filmed banned in Russia. This is going to be the highest grossing comedy ever. Too bad most of it was staged.............

The rodeo part wasn't...that happened about 30 minutes from where I live. They literally had to have police escort him out because they were ready to lynch him. The arena owner had no clue about it, it was the lead story on the news for about 2 weeks straight.

Andy Kaufman is smiling somewhere...

I'd be really surprised if that's the first time someone had hauled off and belted him.

Pulling that street schtick hass inherant risks.

Yeah...I just don't get it. I watch his HBO show sometimes, not so funny.

[sarcasm]Maybe I'm just too old.[/sarcasm]

Really looking forward to seeing this, I just hope the hype doesn't kill it for me. The TV shows usually ok, unless he gets a right nutter that he can play with, then it's brilliant. It's funny how people drop all their defenses and show their true colours just because they believe they're talking to a foriegner.

i liked the hbo stuff, though i haven't seen it all. i thought the older uk episodes were better though...partly because some of the jokes were repeated. but in the end, i can definetly see how borat wouldn't appeal to everyone.

Haha, I love that he stays in character even after he's been hit.

hah hell yea! the guy who punched him must've had some reach or was pretty tall. i saw sascha on the conan o brien show (who is pretty tall himself) and i think conan was a little shorter.

its also kinda funny that he didn't want to sue the guy who punched him, and all these people are now suing borat/the film company for showing them in a negative light (even though the negative light was created by the words the people filing the claim said on their own.) :P

That's stupid to sue. You got duped and were to stupid to know it. Deal with it.

It's like getting slammed by a friend. You get embarrassed for awhile, but you'll get over it.
