event Bowers 2013

Had a limited, but excellent time today. Didn't fare too well in the field ***note to self... get there before Justaguy next year*** :P. Talked to JHP, Redtail, TylerDodd, and the Defcon Creator (felt the Zero Reserve all the way home). Missed a bunch of you, though. I'm hoping to go again tomorrow. If so, it probably won't be until a little later... considering the jalapeno contest. Anyone try that before? If I can get there, I'll have the highway worker green "Peppers at the Beach 2012" shirt on. Darth... you still plan on being there in the afternoon? If so, I'll try to catch up with you and sign the shirt.

I had a super fun time at Bowers this year.  Got to see all my pals and finally meet Darth and Randev.  What awesome peeps!  Unfortunately, I never ran into the papparazi, was looking forward to that.  I am not going to make it back today, but I did bring an awesome haul of sauces.  The fields were a disappointment this year so I didn't pick nearly the amount of peppers as usual.  Oh well, moved on and did more cool stuff like play the piano and chase down a large animal on the street.  Pics to come whenever I get to it. Scovie, you were definitely there in spirit.

Had a great time picked a couple gallons of peppers for 10 bucks! Met joe, scovillekid, justaguy, Dan from red hawk, John Dilley "defcon".. Got some new sauces for my collection and even got shirts from justaguy and Dan! All in all it was a blast and was definitely worth skipping school haha

went back today with my wife and my friend from work Fred and his wife , i didn't pick anything for myself today but helped my friend and his wife
saw Dan from Redhawk and had some of his fatalii jelly that stuff is awesome!!, said hello to Johnny from Heatbreaking Dawns and got a chance to to congrat him in person on his win on TV a few months back
saw (and sorry i cant remember his name) the fellow from High river sauce (nice guy)
actually had a few minutes with Jim Weaver today but only a few man he was busy, i gave him a few AJI PINEAPPLE pods from my garden to try, he liked them so much that it looks like they will be on the lineup for next year
 
my friend Fred made mention that he never seen a farm quite like Meadowview, i told him that's because i myself dont know of any like it either, he also said that he never did anything like the pick your own before and and enjoyed it, he also loved the price a cash out time
 
bottom line we all had a blast and Fred and his wife want to come again next year
