Just had 10 days of clouds and heavy rainfall and it's going down to 2 degrees tonight...will be bringing the whole lot into the garage.  Supposed to be sunny for a week and these plants need it!  Trying to acquire 20 more 5 gallon buckets from a guy on kijiji but he takes forever to reply.  Pics to come soon.

Getting everything ready for plant out! The first pic is where my pepper patch is going to go. It will house container plants and a row in the dirt against the garage. Taking the greenhouse down next week.

Had to remove several rose of Sharon trees and I'm glad I did...going to try some melons this year and the one bed is for green/yellow beans, lettuce, rainbow carrots, mesclun mix and radishes - all organic seeds and fertilizer.

Getting the beds ready. Soil is very clay-heavy so added some triple mix and going to get fertilizer this afternoon. Never turned over a garden before - it's hard work! But very satisfying.

Sometimes.....nature wins. Came home to find my plants crushed in a pile. Greenhouse is ruined (unless I can find replacement parts). Wind came out of nowhere and the thing is behind the garage so nobody saw it until it was too late. Was totally calm when I left this morning. Pretty sure every plant is ok.

Whew! Thank goodness! I can't imagine the feeling of coming out to see an upturned greenhouse. It looks like you've been working your butt off, too and then nature added more work. I'm glad all are ok. I've been struggling with the Pumpkin BBG. The first one was a helmet head that died, so I started another one hoping there was enough time. Then hardening off burnt the heck out of the only true leaves it had, but a new set came out and now it's in the garden...growing. Maybe I'll get a pod or two.

Got a generous half cubic yard of grow-mix for 25 bucks. Upsized nearly every remaining plant and put 4 into 7 gallon buckets I picked up - JPGS x Primo, chocolate Scorpion, MOA and a Primo X I think. I put 4 into the dirt with 3 foot deep holes...probably 10 gallons of soil in each one - mustard moruga brain, choc ghost x jalapeño f2, primo (found it in a market yesterday for 2 bucks) and an MOA. I have a few plants left over that are extras...I was going to sell them but I might just toss them. They're beat up a bit from the greenhouse going over.

I hope that pumpkin bbg7 puts out a few pods for you! Definitely ordering that for next year!

That sucks !  Glad to hear all is good !

I had the front rolled up and open because it was 40 degrees in there. The previous day had been windy and a few fell off of a shelf but otherwise, no issues. Not sure what happened but I had huge water jugs holding the frame down. The giant tent pegs all came out...must have been a heck of a blast of wind to lift all of that weight. Bent some joints in the frame beyond repair but I am guessing I can get replacement parts. Ripped the plastic too but I can sew it back together. I will just repair it and reinforce it next year because the plants are 100% hardened off - it was so slick! No leaf burn, just smooth hardening off. Your tips helped tremendously my friend.

Been a while since I updated. Got this fertilizer today after giving them some tomato fert a few days ago...they exploded! Got the purple hue back in the stems and buds. They're taking off now but their growth has been slow.
I don't think my soil mix was the best this year. Not to mention that after the greenhouse fell over, all the root roots got ripped apart so they basically had to start over from the root ball they had left.
What can you do?
