im growing my jolokia's inside and there are gnats in the soil need to know how to kill them

Fungas gnats are harmless, they came from the potting soil most likely.

You can spray them with a Garden Safe brand with pyrethrin, that will kill the adults.

To get the larvae in the soil you have to let the soil dry out completly.

They aren't that quick. I killed a few myself just this morning with nothing more than a finger. Yep, gave 'em the finger.

Very common problem.
1. Gnatrol- Follow label instructions, and remember to store in the refrigerator. Contains nematode, which eats the eggs and larvae in the soil. Will probably require several doses over 2-3 weeks.
2. GnatStick- yellow sticky cards attracts the flying bastards.
Employing these 2 methods simultaneously will control the problem in 2-3 weeks.

Water that has had a Mosquito Dunk soaking in it works pretty well for me. You can find Mosquito Dunks at a hardware store.
