The Seasol? You can use as a foliar spray and/or water into the pots. It's probably not the best thing to use on already fruiting plants, although it won't harm them. I use liquid Thrive Tomato Food with good results once the plants are ready to fruit. There are definitely better products out there but I can get this stuff at Bunnings and it's fairly cheap.

thanks.. I was a bit confused about the seasol.. but i spoke to mum and she basically said the same thing as you! I have the same thrive thingo here... alongwith fish emulsion and some slow release fertiliser stuff.. I may need to buy shares in bunnings... i go in for one thing and come away with a carload!

Bunnings is just a toy store for grown ups.... Reminds me of the Supercheap Auto ads where the man sends his son home in a cab....

I've just gone out and checked out the plants... it only seems to be the Scotch Bonnets that have them still so i'll do the neem oil this evening and see how that goes...

Got another question for ya, although I think I know the answer... the peter pepper plant leaves are looking a bit icky... I think its some kind of mold or something but what do you reckon? when I got the plant it was in one of those jiffy pod thingos and I just whacked the whole thing in the pot... it has been growing really well, but maybe some kind of rot from the roots being too damp??
