Hi,
this is the usual problem , storebought chillies , I liked it so much , I had to save the seeds and plant it.
In store labled as red chillies !
In short:
- easy to germinate and grow , this plant is only 4 months old.
- prolific in growth , flowering and fruit.
- as far as I can see, one pepper per node
- It loves our heat and is the only plant in my collection to handle our
38+C / 100+F heat without wilting in direct sun
- 2-3 feet high plant with small leaves
- green pods are standing up
- ripe pods are horizontal to down , but with some end curling up
- taste , nice burn , fruity , jalapeno and up heat , very good eating in the garden fresh from the plant
- size , little thinner and smaller than my Jalapenos
Bigger plant on the right.
Small to medium size jalapeno on the right , about 2 inches 6cm.
3 of the peppers in question on the left .
Flower
Thick woody stem in 4 months
