Calling All Sauce Gurus

Hello,

am new to the forum and desperately seeking Sauce advice. I am looking for recipes, basic Sauce Making guidelines or recommendations for Books about Hot Sauce making. Any advice? I know there are some gurus out there who were once in my shoes... Hot Sauce junkies that wanted to start making their own. Please help.

Best thing I can tell you is just try what you think sounds good and build from there. Write stuff down. Nothing sucks worse than making a kick ass sauce but forgetting what you used.

Read ingredients on sauces you like for ideas too.

Best thing (besides the aformentioned posts) is experience. Just start throwing stuff together and see what you get (be sure to take notes).
