Capsicum galapagoense review!

The fruits are tiny, red and slightly off-round, containing only 2-5 seeds.
 
The aroma is very similar to wild C.annuums, such as the Mexican Tepin, and is a little fresh and grassy.
 
The flavor is slightly acidic and has a rounded, rich flavour with a touch of fruitiness and fresh grassy flavor. 
 
The heat is quite strong, especially given the size of the pod. This is the hottest wild species I`ve had, hotter than Tepins, Pequins or other species. It`s an especially prickly heat, much more so than wild C.annuums. 
 
All in all, a truly wonderful plant to grow.

Nice review Nigel I was wondering how they would taste and what the burn was like now I don't have to pull a pod off my plants I only have about 10 pods between 4 plants. you are right about the pods being small, they are smaller than my chiltepin pods, I woulder how they would stand up to the flavor and heat of a Praetermissum pod.

That has been my experience, yes. Nothing last year except a single flower. Pods everywhere the year!

Cannot wait to get my hands on these. Had my eye on 'em for a while. Nigel, do you find a majority of the pods to be juicy/full of liquid? What a cool trait!
 
I may try starting quite early to see if I can get a pod or two next year.

Yes, very juicy indeed for the size. The small amount of flesh is very soft, too. 
 
Although my winter conditions are hardly winter at all, anywhere on the planet, the plant didn`t need any attention. I suspect it would be fine indoors. as for growing, they appear to do very well in hydroponics. I haven't tried that, but I know quite a few people who have. 
 
I love growing and eating peppers, but wilds are my passion.
