Catch of the Day

WarrantMan

eXtreme
Curious if anyone might find this of interest.  Something I thought about long before I found this forum. Nothing at all to do with peppers, but I am who I am and have made a hobby of this website. Would it be of interest to those viewing here, if I posted my arrests? Regular working stuff. An arrest log of sorts. Not who, not what race, name, age etc.., but the accusation of crime? Public record...

Example: Monday. I hunted down and arrested a guy wanted for murder in Wisconsin. He ran, I tackled him..   that sort of stuff.... Tuesday, I arrested a lady for embezzlement, cost her company $25,000....

I know my lawful and departmental parameters and will not breach legality in so doing. Worth a go? No hard feelings either way.

My benchmark is 20 "likes" on this post and I will start posting. * Note* I may not arrest someone every day. Some cases take much time and effort. Some hours, some weeks, some months. This may in fact be the first thread of its kind - ever. Never seen or known of it elsewhere. I'm out on a limb, stretched as far as I can but...There has to be a "first." It could happen here...

Anybody interested in a Warrant Man A-log?

What say you? Pepper People.

Go for it mate.

I find it interesting reading what the bottom feeders have been up to.

No names, or I would highly disagree.

There was a dude that used his local arrest log for seeds contest on here with the offenders names, i found it tasteless and lame.

as long as there is no names I'm cool with it.

You gotta be kidding right? No way... Not challenging your credibility, but if he was  a cop, hopefully a cop no more... Idiot. All professions have them...

Hogleg,

Can't view it, I am not an "Extreme" subscriber. But I know your word is good with me. If somebody, anybody presenting himself/herself as a "cop" and not confining themselves to the constraints I mentioned above, and posting in difference to such, is an idiot to be weeded out. Likely the guy or gal (hopefully) is employed now in a different vocation. I love my "brothers and sisters" but offer no solace to the knuckleheads that slip in from time to time....

I'm pretty sure he wasn't a cop

Also I'm pretty sure it wasn't in extreme lounge when originally posted, musta got moved there.

Teaser. It would go something like this. *My actual work today.

3-7-18  Road trip to another jurisdiction to transport wanted suspect back for our charges.Upstate, long ride.

Young lady charged under SC Statute 16-13-230  Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent. https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t16c013.php (where you have the right to be in possession of goods or money but covert it to your own use.)  Most common cases are employee register thefts. They are allowed to possess the money, just not keep it.  Such was the case here. In this instance less than $2,000 which makes it a misdemeanor. Over $2,000 would be a felony. Such are all the property crime charges here. Court and sentences all hinge on the $ amount.

Just like that. No names, no specific details about the case (which would land me in hot water.)

Boooooring..... if this is going to be a thing they better get better

It may be a short lived venture.  It ain't blood and guts all the time...

Gotta be very guarded on this thin ice... too close to retirement to blow it. Cops aren't held in very high regard lately, wouldn't take an act of congress to get swiftly fired.

Most of what I do is very boring. Many hours investigating, interviewing, surveillance... stuff like that. I won't include that. Just a running tally. Maybe a few particulars if I can safely do it.... Often I can just call folks, give them my spiel and they will just surrender. That's not very exciting, but part of the deal.

For purposes here, I will say what I can and if it fizzles, well that's ok. No worse for trying. Would it help if I said that the lady smelled like forty hells and I was trapped in the car for hours where it permeated my hair and clothes? It was bad, like it was stuck in my mustache... true by the way....

What about a collection of your favorites? Each day you tell us a real doozy. Like America's Dumbest Criminals or whatever. Instead of what actually happens daily. You ever see that show Homicide Hunter where detective Kenda narrates his high profile cases?
