Celebrating;Nasa Launches Mars Science Lab

Hey All THP. I am having a minor celebration. For the third time my craftsmanship in the form of flight hardware has left the planet bound for Mars.

Man those rockets are much faster then the shuttle, and not quite the rumble once the sound waves arrive. We took my buddies flats boat out for a night shuttle launch, as far S as we could go in the lagoon. It was a nice moon, and glassy, once the sound waves hit, you could see ripples on the water

S.S.Tupperware, I was involved with the sample collection and distribution subsystem of the "SAM" instrument known as SMS. Also a couple device's on the robotic arm called DRT, and PADS.

It is proprietary information so I am intentionally being vague since I,(and the company I work for), are simply the manufacturer.

Timmy thanks for posting the simulation!

Thanks Mike

While I am a big science fan, I am just an armchair wannabe. I do have extensive manufacturing experience. Making something from nothing. Making little ones out of big ones, etc.
