hey, it's not SofaKing Hot sauce....   I've triedsome sauces from well known "award winning" makers and they ended up in the trash.

don't judge a book by the cover, especially when the book is in a foreign language.

I would never buy these sauces out of principle. Especially the Hiroshima one from PA. I'm not offended, they're just grossly disrespectful.  I would never buy a sauce called "Flight 175" or "Tears of 911" either for the same reason, I don't give a shit how good the sauce is. Sauces with names like that are trying to sell their sauce with "cool branding". Not for me.

"Ass Blaster" or "Devil's Vomit" are fine names as far as not being disrespectful, I wouldn't buy that crap either but they aren't disrespectful so, whatever. This thread has names that are disrespectful. So...

I'm with Grant, I saw it, don't like the name, keep walking.... Sofa King easy. lol

Makes me wonder how many great hot sauces have been disregarded just because the name didn't catch. Whats more important, the name or the actual product?

To answer your question, sometimes the name is more important and people do not want to support the product. If you are suggesting, if the sauce is so good to ignore the name, then that is your own choice.

Both IMO. Imagine if LDHS named his sauces with weird names like Satan's Poo or the like. I guarantee he wouldn't be 1/10th as successful as he is right now. He is a serious saucier with a great product and proper branding. He's got the whole package. I have had enough sauces with names like that that taste like ass to know I don't need to try anymore. But that's just me.

If there is a hot sauce that will make you "slap ya mama" then why not...oh wait thats a seasoning but still.... oh nevermind. This thread is toast

I get the point everyone is making, But I also saw the original post is from someone in Croatia.  Maybe they have a different view of Chernobyl than we in the USA have and maybe that name of Chernobyl Tears makes sense. Maybe they are donating a portion of the sales to recovery efforts.  Point is, WE DON'T KNOW!  So why blast someone posting their new sauces they are excited to offer based on a sauce name in a country we know nothing about?

USA based companies using Hiroshima....yea, not gonna go there... and I agree that a 9/11 sauce would not get anywhere.  Don't know why I'm championing this sauce other than people are dissing the name when it's made in a foreign country and we do not have any understanding of the culture there.

Someone shared their sauce, GOOD ON THEM!  Whether we like the name or not, it's their sauce and THANK YOU to Rossi for sharing.

Rossi didn't ask for a critique of the name or label so don't offer a critique. Don't buy it if you don' like the name, which many have already stated.  I know some won't buy my Pure Evil based on the name.  I'm fine with that.  Moving on~

...on the other side, buy the sauce and present an honest review of the sauce based on the whole package.

C'mon, guys...we are a supportive community!  Our opinions wasn't asked, so don't offer it.  Be supportive of a Hot Sauce venture!

And all the sauces that reference Satan, Hell, Evil and all those things have been around forever, and will be around, and people won't buy products that reference those things because they are offensive.

Whatever, I get it...

But, what y'all aren't getting is that the OP didn't ask for an opinion on the product name, so don't offer it, or at least don't beat it to death.  I'm sure they, living quite close to the whole Chernobyl disaster area are quite aware of what the whole thing means.

I made a sauce called Fatal Fire hot sauce, inspired by the 3 firefighters who were killed in the Twisp River Fire last year.  Anyone looking at that sauce online would think it was disrespectful of firefighters.  Absolutely not the case, but if you don't know, it would be easy to misconstrue.  Actually, it was  tribute sauce.  A one-off, never to be repeated sauce.  Like the lives of those who died.

Well, this has been lively, hopefully the OP isn't totally run off.

There's no proof of Satan, Hell, or Evil ...

But a Google Images search for Chernobyl will cost a reasonable person some sleep, or at least peace ...

Moving on ... the sauces looked 'shopped onto the wood grain, either because they are, or because of where the light source was positioned ...

Seriously? as of March 2013 the death toll directly related to Chernobyl was 985,000 people. And most of those took most of 30 years to die of every kind of cancer known to man. Fact. "Global view".

You made a sauce called "Fatal Fire" as a tribute sauce? Who knew? I myself don't like that either but I've never seen the label or any marketing on it.

Let's all do that thing where we say we agree to disagree.

This should not lead to infighting. Especially neighbors. :)

I do wish the best of luck to the OP! I'm sure he will chime in soon.

I could if it was a sauce name, but it's the brand, so I can't ...

One of the names is actually Reactor 4 ...

Worse yet, U-235 is a design element throughout the line ...

Is there anything on earth more polarizing than uranium? I think not.
Happy to help with a rebranding, though ;)
