Chilli sweets

I took the g/f to sydney for a weekend away as work is about to get very busy and I wanted to get a few bonus points up before I start to spend far to much time at work...

Well, while walking through a street markets this morning we came across a stall that was selling sweats....

I tasting a few items, then came across something interesting...

Chilli chocolate and............chilli licorice....

The chocolate is actually fairly warm (I would give it the ranking of Jalapeno heat or just a little hotter) and the licorice is a little milder.....

The chocolate gives you all the chocolate flavours then the heat comes through about 10 seconds after chewing and remains for a good minute or 2.

The licorice is a great traditional flavour and the heat is just nice for a sweat, but hot enough for my family not to touch, which is great.....

these sweats were non mass produced but made by a local sydney guy....

They were a little on the expensive side but for a 'one off' I was happy to try them...
 
I also visited the chilli factory stall and got some of this......

Hot chilli and wasabi sause. Neil has reviewed it on youtube.
 
And I have to give DickT a good plug.....

He sent me some of his nutterz......And OMFG they are so so great....

Bit of an ugly bloke in the photo.....:lol: My face is a bit red as I just spent the weekend in the sun so i'm a bit sun burnt....

Yeah we were at the rocks markets. It is a bit to touristy for me but so of it is pretty good....
 
Those choccies sound nice, im not really into any other sweet stuff.
I want to get some of that wasabi mustard too:) Oh yeah your dorset is starting to flower :) Wooooot
 
can't you Hunter Valley dudes just drive to Morriset and pick some up? I've bought from the Chilli Factory mail order - very easy. I'm a bit partial to their Turbo Supercharge and of course the Fiery Frillneck Hiss.

Very good about the dorset.......

It might be an unfair trade as my 7 pots aren't doing to well after the wind a few weeks ago.....but I do have a devils tounge that is about 3 inches tall.

I think the time for us to get together and swap some things is getting close.....

We can't say anything to a moderator!! When i first saw the title i thought you were referring to a article of clothing:)

Just shoot me a pm when you are ready to do the swapage, your dorset is around 8-9" high, actually it seems that all of my plants are going to flower, yayyy.
 
I have some chili chocolate icecream with pumpkin seeds at home. kind of weird combination, and it gives only a throat burn cause it's cold at first. but it does taste pretty good
