Good to see you got some starters, sorry Jungle but I failed with the seeds you sent me. Silly bastard that I am, I left the heat mat on when we had those days in mid 30s and I think I cooked them. :( Thanks for sending them and thanks Cmpman too.

It's time you got cracking Chilliman, you've got plenty to do with all those plants. :)

they were a pain to crack... 2 from 5 at the moment but still hope for others.

i have got big pots coming next week to do final planting on some of them, and new beds to build still ....

anything superhot and special you know I dont have... :)

I have a few going in now that i will add to my list when they are up so a few more wont hurt.

Thanx Grant !

Ian

Bhut - that has a fluro green colour ?? Usually a heavy green as above, these seem to be alittle light and stunted ?? We will see what colour they end up. (these are the ones i was talking about JR) could be a miss label...

What sort of benefits do you get out of putting the hay on top of your pots CM?

Hey mate, its to help with water retention, and to insulate the roots. And to avoid soil movment whilts watering with a hose ;)
I have found Sugar Can mulch works best for me in pots ;)

Funny you have picked my 2 strains from Brazil. ;)

Jr actually gave me the Scorpion - Brazil ( its just place of origin)

-------------------------------------------------

DEDO DE MOCA (PI 497972)
Species: Baccatum
Origin: Brazil
Heat: Medium

Fruits 3 to 4in long, very narrow with a strong flavour. Also listed as BGH 72. Note: The BGH classification system for chile varieties indicates an accession from the genebank at Banco de Germoplasma de Hortaliças, Brazil

I have been liking Baccatums alot lately especially the ones with soem good heat to em. Thanx for answering my questions. What color does the BGH 72 turn? Keep us posted!
