CMPMAN1974 Growing Log - 2014 Season

Time to start sowing seeds in a few weeks.  I am undecided on exactly what I will be growing this season.  All I know is I'm looking forward to seeing some sprouts after this crap winter so far in Michigan!  Will update once there is something to actually write. LOL.

Good luck to all in 2014!!  Hope it's the hottest season ever!

Chris

Great starts you have going, Chris.  cool varieties.
The flexuosum is a very neat looking plant.

Great grown' out your way, brother!

This weather pattern is really crazy it goes from nice warm days to near freezing temps, tornadic storms ripping away peoples hopes and lives, back to being nice. I'll sure be glad when things settle out where I can do my gardening, this Sunday I'll be going to Baker's Creek Spring Festival to get a few plants that I didn't have seeds for, mostly eggplants and Cucumbers and maybe some melons to try.
Chris I hope all is well with you and hope you have a great season.

Hi Chris, I thought you might like a pic of one of the Dilley Street Tamwork plants I started this year with your seeds. They're small plants but they're gonna be big producers, and I just love the purple color on the pods while waiting for them to ripen. Cheers!

It looks great!   I really liked this variety.  The different color scheme was nice. :)  Great producer as well!

Glad you're getting caught up w/ your garden. I've had some side issues interfere on my end as well. My building's maintenance schedule is forcing me to move my plants indoors temporarily which I'm not too happy about.

Anyway, can't wait to see some more pod porn in your GLOG this season

Hey Chris,
What is the deal with the blue anthers on the Cobincho? Glabriusculum? Some conflicting info around. I have seen exile called cobincho/cobindo?? Would be a unique chacoense with blue/purple anthers.

Brilliant pics as always Chris, I can always count on you for incredible pictures and varieties that I either hadn't heard of or at least haven't yet grown, speaking of which, how does the 7 pot evergreen taste, unless I misread the pic said cross, so I assume u grew the evergreen last season

Purdy! Garden is growing slow down here too. Temps are all over the place. Supposed to drop into the 80s/60s next week. I'm hoping for lots of flowers.
