Cobra

So I got a call, my friend/customer got a hell of a deal on this 99 Cobra, $4,500 bucks with a rod knock. Turns out somebody lifted the motor up on the oil pan, starving for oil 4 rod bearings failed. After pulling the motor he helped with the work, he attempted to pound out the dent in the oil pan himself, I gave him some sh%t for not using wood and a flat surface. Overall it went smooth and the car runs like a champ now, six bolt main caps make this beast's bottom end almost bullet proof, unless you crush the pan up into the sump. Sorry I messed up the order something happened while I was linking up the pics, half had to be reposted.

Never buy a car that lives close to the beach, I see lots of beach/intracoastal cars that look like they spent years in the rust belt, inland cars here are the way tah go.

Yea in CT the salt from the roads really does a number on vehicles too. Most classics you will be replacing floors, rocker panels and fenders -
