Concerned about new pepper plants

I was using a real weak solution. It was a recommended seed starter by Redwood City Seeds in California.

It seemed to be good on germination but this was also my 1st year using rockwool and a heat mat so..too many variables. I always used peat pellets and just hot tap water before.

I have been wary of this site because of this statement he makes...

"Dremann's Hotness Scale for the tiny Wild Desert Tepín=20,000-64,000 This is several times hotter than any Habaneros, the Red Savina®, or the Bhut Jolokia pepper."

I don't like Dremann's hotness scale or his growing advise, but apparently the seeds he sells are good

Yah, I agree on the hotness scale. He doesn't rank the Chocolate Hab that high, but has the White Bullet up there and the Gold Bullet much more. He has quality seeds though and I've purchased from him for a few years.

quality seeds is good to know...thanks...

Hey Reny, The first 2 leaves, called cotyledons will eventually fall off, that is normal, i would'nt worry about it. Welcome from MIchigan.
