Congo Brown

I bought the seeds as Congo Brown, but it ripened red. Any idea what pepper can be?

I've only grown the Yellow Congos but It doesn't have the shape of my Congos.

As we all know there is a vast amount of confusion in the naming of peppers. To avoid adding to the confusion, when I get a result like yours I would call it "Not Congo Brown".

Thats what I've been doing lately thanks to you John and it sure does lessen the confusion. Sometimes I add a quick description like Not Congo Brown(red & wrinkly)

It's very similiar to Jamaican Scotch Bonnet in flavor and heat.

from the flower and pod it looks chinense. prob one of the three i posted I guess you never can really know exactly what you got for 100% sure.
