One of my Mystery Pepper Plants /Aji Limo is not like the others, which are yellow.

I like rainbows. The yellow is momentary, these ripen fast :seeya:

A cross I made years ago nearly stabilized. Chinense cluster variety.

Another cross, which may now be considered stabile - Goat's Weed x Orange Thai F8

A very comlicated cross involving Aribibi Gusano, Pimenta Morango, Sarit Gat, Naga Morich and a few others. Ripening progress is very sharply divided.

Wow. Amazing stuff you have going on there. The first one looks like candy! Did you manage to get some hair on the Goats Weed cross? I think I see some there but not sure. If so then nice job, I hear it's pretty hard to get that to show up in crosses. Last but not least, that sharp ripening is very very cool. Does that show up in all pods?

The Goat's Weed x Orange Thai does have a nice amount of pubescens. It is a very difficult gene to stabilize, since it is not simply a matter of yes/no (does it have pubescens or not) - but it is a quantitative trait, i.e. more a matter of how much. So out a lot of plants in the F2-generation many had little or next to nothing pubescens and only a couple had enough pubescens to carry on with selection - luckily one of them ripened orange.
Yes, the sharp ripening is the same progress on all pods, I hope I will be able to make a photo shortly, since I have now brought the container inside to avoid night frosts and speed up the ripening process.

Pick that half and half pod and sample each side!

Couple of full on rainbow pods ripening off the plant, left two are red primos and right two are 7 pot chaguanas, I thought yellow but it looks like they will finish red. Quarter for scale, the primos are pretty big and gnarly.
