Countdown to Vegas!

If your hitting up any of the buffets you gotta try the Wynn. I was out a few weeks ago and it was amazing. I went to the Saturday brunch. If you go try and get there just before the brunch ends. If you do you pay about $12 less a person and still get to enjoy the dinner menu. I think it's rated the best buffet in Vegas and all the food was great, but for me I really enjoyed their fish dishes. All cooked to perfection!

Actually the locals all agree, me included, that the best buffet is at the Rio. Can you say...... all you can eat crab legs?

Now that's the kind of tips I am looking for! Thanks.

Any microbreweries in Vegas anywhere?

There's Gordon Biersche just down the road from the Blues Casa. Just okay beer and food I think. Unmemorable to me anyways. One I haven't tried yet is Hofbrauhaus off of Paradise between Twain and Flaming-O. Can you say snausage and schnitzel? There's also a MB inside of Mandalay Bay too, though I've never been. Can't remember the one I met Passow at....There are several more I know but I rarely go visit them as I do almost all of my drinking at home...... unless mrs. blues drives that is...

Nah. I took mercy on the poor man. Duct leads to outside....for now! If ever AJ visits, perhaps then I may make a "modification".

You have Shiner at home TB? ONly had it once, but it was quite good. Oh and how about that 20yr old Hardy?

We have Shiner Bock locally but not always the regular pils. I may head down to Lee's today and look for some good hosky. Yep. Still gots the Hardy. Samiclaus too! It might get ugly!

Head on over to the Circus Circus and follow Hunter Thompson's trek. If the Mint 400 is running see if you can snag some press credentials and volunteer to be a nav on one of the cars.

Good luck!

Read a little more carefully THP. He was talking to Wheebz on that one.

I have been to the rio and it fails in comparison. The crab legs at the Wynn are KING crab legs and are already split in half so you can quickly and easily get the meat out. The rio doesn't have king crab legs and they don't split them for you. Can you say struggle with a little crab and a cracker for an hour?
