it was 108 today so i stayed inside and made some red caribbean hab & mango sauce.

might have been 108 today but NOT in my patio. a nice 84 with the misters and fans on

Very nice. The patio looks well-suited to growing peppers and the sauce looks tasty and HOT :mouthonfire:
thanks! my patio is great for peppers. but when i woke up today i noticed the misters had left hard water stains on my leaves so i had to spray them off with RO water. Does anyone know if hard water will damages the leaves if left on?

put a shade cloth over the backyard 30 gallon tote

a few of my patio bhuts just started turning red.

a few more red caribbeans too

Your plants look great, I think those bhuts look gnarly, in a good way! Caribbean Reds are my favorite for making sauce for the "woozies",

pics taken 6/22/11

High of 114 today :mouthonfire:

raised bed is doing well but needs water every day now

the 30 gallon tote plants are over 6 feet tall now and need watering every other day

getting some bigger chocolate habs now :)

Does anyone know if hard water will damages the leaves if left on?

hard water staining is likely calcium stains

think also that calcium is an essential building block for plant tissues

i have plants with calcium deficiencies

yeah it doesnt look like it calcium buildup on the leaves is hurting anything.

picked these out of the raised bed today

traded with a member here and got these seeds.

will have pics posted later tonight of my new indoor seedlings(red caribbean, wild chiltepin, and cpi bhut jolokia)

ok so I didn't see this before. I have to say the indoor harvest looked awesome. Having pods inside would be great.
