Hot?  Yeah they burnt through my rubber gloves 2 nights ago for a days worth of pain. My reaper sauce is mild compared to the CP115 sauce. They live up to their looks. Picked a pepper from the #4 plant today and I'll try it tomorrow and report back.  Here is a picture of peppers from plant # 1 - 3 all picked a few minutes ago. I am super excited about purple plant #5! Picture is terrible but I think it is going to turn black or purple with a tail! But That leaves some questions. Have these variations been seen before? Has anyone else had a lot with parasitic twins? Thanks for chiming in cmpman1974 I really like to know more about these. You said something about unique leaf structure. Do you have any pics of your plants?

Its reddish brown and yeah its a CP115 plant. I'm trying it tomorrow. The bumpy ones are consistently the hottest even though the smaller smooth ones are sometimes just dripping with oil and just as hot. Your tongue goes numb then its like getting donkey punched while have a red hot branding iron in the back of the throat...and then it gets hot...and panic sets in ...

Ate the 1st reddish brown one. Great taste but maybe ghost pepper hot but being the 1st pod who knows if the heat will come later. The purple one is growing fast and I'm super excited by the looks! Sorry for the crap pic for some reason that pepper just won't focus.

Hey RedSkull, any news on your purple plant? I see that this morning Ed Currie posted a picture of a purple CP115 as well.

Got a link? That's interesting! It's taking its time growing but its making a tail and only seems to be purple where the sun hits it!? Strangest pepper I've seen growing. Same pod as last pic btw.

That picture has me confused...the bottom peppers are red and bumpy and the top is smooth and purple...looks like 2 different plants...cool looking though.. thx for link!

That's what I was thinking as well, those look nothing like each other, and I don't understand what the 20% that are "secret" would be, if there are all these variations wouldn't others have this "secret" variation as well? So much diversity in this strain, it's becoming my new favorite pepper haha

Yeah I'm loving it too...I wanted something unique and hot and man it's produced....so hoping this purple one melts my face lol

If it does save me some seeds! hahaha, Keep updating man, I can't wait to see how these turn out, and other people's as well.

I'm hoping it cools down so I can set more peppers only have 3 on it so far but yeah I'll send ya seeds if it produces enough  =] ...it's been brutally hot and humid here and every plant has dropped all blooms...less than 1/4 mile from gulf of Mexico...wish others would post some pics

Same here man, the well has done ran dry trying to just keep the peppers alive, much less thrive. the pains of living in the South lol. Do all three pods have around the same general shape and look?

ok more purple pepper plant pics.... and the gnarly chocolate cp115 plant made this weird ass over sized double flower I wonder if this is why I keep having parasitic twins...pay attention to how big it is next to the other bud on the same node

Could be, i don't know enough about the actual genetics though to make an assumption. haha, I can't wait to see how these pods ripen!

I'm late to the party as usual. I too have noticed quite a bit of variance in my pods. I have pods that look like the variety RedSkull posted. Plus some of mine are red as was mentioned also. I will pay closer attention to and make notes of the differences. I have a row of them in the ground.
