Bourbon Barrel Stout from Anderson Valley Brewing Company in Boonville, CA
6.9% ABV
A very nice Malty Stout that's been ages in Wild Turkey barrels.

This is a really good stout with a nice balance between the sweet malt and the bitter hops. The nose is full of malt as is the initial taste of a sip followed by slight bitter notes and the finish is full of coffee and bourbon.

And yes, brewed in a Solar powered brewery

Anderson Valley Summer Solistice is one of my favorite beers. I'd love to try that one.


So this beer is really good.
 
At this point you lot are calculatedly screwing with me.  Send me a case of the bourbon barrel stout, I don't care what it costs.
