crystals at underside leafs

I have what looks like crystals (sugar) at the underside of the leafs. The only 2 plants that have this are Numex Twilight. I took some microscope pictures. Is this oedema?? What can I do.

I think you are right about it being over watering. As to what you can do i suppose you could water less. :P

Looks like oedema Vincent. Various post about that subject here on THP

Water less
Add a fan for good air circulation

Another cause for this problem is high day time temps with low night temps in combination with warm soil. But I guess you already googled for oedema

edema looks more like clusters of tiny aphids, and is caused by poor air circulation and not over watering.
I had a few plants with this the ones that grew up in my light box before i put fans in there.
The effected leaves fell off but the plants were fine (after i moved them)
But any pics of edema i've seen sure don't look like your pics.
Because the result is the cells in the leaves swell and burst from being unable to transpire the water the plant takes up due to lack of air flow. So oot overwatering just the plant don't 'sweat' enough
